Top Dawg Wrestling will hold registrations for youth wrestlers for its upcoming season today at 5:30 p.m. in the old gym at West Lincoln High Schools. Registration costs $50.
Buck Dellinger Tournament
The 10th annual Buck Dellinger Memorial Basketball Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday at West Lincoln Middle School.
All four Lincoln County middle school teams will participate in the event, with proceeds going to the Buck Dellinger Memorial Fund to provide two scholarships to West Lincoln High School seniors.
The games begin Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m.? Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.? County passes will be accepted.

Youth soccer
The City of Lincolnton Parks and Recreation is accepting soccer registration for the 2013 Youth Spring Soccer League. Registration for the league will be held at the William Lentz Recreation Center at Betty G. Ross Park Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.?5 p.m. Players can also register on January 26 & February 16 from 9 a.m.?noon at the Lentz Center. The league is for boys and girls ages 4-14 (must have been born on or after July 1, 1998).? Registration for the league is $30 per child for city residents and $45 for non-city residents, and will be accepted through 5 p.m. on February 18. The Recreation Department is also seeking persons interested in being volunteer coaches for the youth soccer league.? Those interested in coaching may contact the department to receive a volunteer coach?s application and to learn more about the position.?
