Would you hire yourself to be your Realtor?

The other night Amanda and I had a killer listing presentation. ?The sellers just drilled us with questions like...

How many clients are you currently working with? ?How many sales did you have last year? ?Do you prefer working with buyers or sellers and why? ?What is your sales to list price percentage? ?We answered them all with extreme confidence.

Then they dropped the bomb: ?Would you hire yourself to be your Realtor? ?I'll admit, it caught me off guard. ?

Are there agents that sell more than we do? ?Yes. ?Are there agents that have more experience in areas than we do? ?Yes. ?Are there agents that have been in the business longer? ?Yes. ?

Don't get me wrong, the amount of business we do is nothing to sneeze at. ?But I really had to ask myself the question, and my (our) honest answer was yes. ?

Yes because we know our area. ?Yes because we take care of our clients. ?Yes because we know the process and bring a TON to the table. ?Yes, I would hire myself to be my Realtor. ?
